Essential oils smelling different

I just received bergamot oil and it smells different (stinky) then the bottle I currently have (which is almost empty). I love the original one which was from a company that is no longer available, but do not care for the new one. I purchased both of them from stores on Ebay. I have been looking for an online store to order larger amounts of EO, but do not want to end up with "stinky" oil. I've narrowed my search down to three sites based on quality and price 1) Wellingtonfragrance, 2) Libertynatural, and 3) CamdenGrey. Has anyone tried all three and have an opinion on them. I've found many additional sites that probably offer very nice oils, but I am trying to keep the expense down since I am using the oils in soapmaking, not massage.

I did not know the answer but did some research. It looks like the method the oil was extracted can alter the smell.
