Hey all, I have tried 2 different bars with ultramarine blue and yellow iron oxide in them. I am wondering if they change the characteristics of FO? I tried one with a blend of lemon and orange FO (now smells like play-doh) and another with juniper breeze FO (doesn't smell like the original scent, but not like play-doh either) and there scents changed dramatically. I used the blend of lemon and orange in another bar and the scent is still strong after 4 weeks of curing. Has anyone else had this happen?

I've not had any colorants (including these) impact the fragrance. Have you soaped these exact fragrance oils in an identical recipe without the colorants? same conditions?

Well, I was just thinking about it and the conditions were the same. I do now remember adding some silk fiber also. Could that have changed the scent?
