better customers if admission charged?

was wondering what ya'll's experience has been at fairs where no admission was charged versus a fee to get in.....in my experience you get more serious shoppers when a fee is charged, however those tend to be more expensive booth fees and even though i make more in sales, i spend more for the booth....

You are right, the shows that charge admission do have more serious shoppers and do result in more sales. I love them.

Paying customers results in a targeted audience IMO.
You're not going to pay to go to a motorhome expo when u hate travelling r u???
