I was interested in knowing what people use to colour bath bombs? Currently I am using oxides and only just enough to give it a pastel colour as I have learned too much will colour your bath tub. However, even with the pastel amount, I still get a few stains here and there and I was wondering if anything else would work? I haven't used colour labs, and only because there is no water for me to dilute them in and I have not tried any micas, I have a few micas but have not used them at all yet but using micas in bath bombs seems like it might get pricey.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I use micas from the conservatorie. IMHO, if your tub stains, then I think it's more your tub than anything. If it's porous, then it'll stain pretty much no matter what you use.

I use micas and undiluted lab colors (you only need a drop or two, they are potent). Premix with whatever liquid ingredients you use.
