I think massage candles are made so when the candle melts its oil and you use that for a massage.

You light the candle and melt the oil then blow the candle out and let the hot oil drip on the skin and then massage it in. Apparently, you have to use a specific oil/wax so it doesn't get too hot or it will burn the skin.
It is like using a hot oil treatment for your hair except you put the oil on the skin.

I've used them before (not from this seller) and they're quite nice. The wax doesn't get hot enough to burn you, just nice and warmed.
