Fragrance Oil content ?

I am wondering how to find out what carrier oil fragrance oils are in. I have bought from WSP and the chemistry store but neither show what the fragrance is suspended in. I have had some problems with different scents seizing my soaps and I'm trying to narrow down what the problem is. THe scents are almost always masculine. How are you supposed to know if your scent has alcohol in it or if it's in jojoba oil? Am I just out of luck?!

They aren't in a carrier oil. I suggest you search for one of the myriad posts with the link to the Scent Review Forum on which soapers post their experiences with various FOs in CP soap.

I don't know anything about the composition of FOs so I can't help you.

Have you seen this spreadsheet? People have been posting info about FOs which is very helpful.

Fragrance oils from reputable vendors should not have any alcohol or any soapmaking type oils. Some fragrances are just more suitable for hot process soaps.
