length (cm) x width(cm) x height (cm) x 0.657 = grams of base oils to use (approx.)

If you don't mind going back and forth between metric and standard, I find that 100 g of oils makes a 1 inch wide bar in a standard size loaf mold (2.5x3.5 inches).
