    Is this rice-ing?

I've been making soap a pretty long time and I've been lucky enough never to have experienced this before now. Is this what is called rice-ing? Is it caused by the fragrance oil not being mixed in enough? I tried out both a new recipe and a new fragrance (luckily in a small batch). Oh, and...

    soap grems. . . .

I've been bit by the soap gremlins. It's so frustrating! I've gone over a year without any DOS and then 3 batches have it show up in the first month that they were made. I just discovered another batch this afternoon with it. Why, why, WHY!!! I haven't done anything different. Same...

    Canola Oil in Soap

One of my best recipes that I use very frequently has canola oil in it at about 19%. I read on here somewhere that it can tend to make DOS in your soap but so far I've never noticed a problem. But I guess my question is, do people get turned off from your soap if they see canola oil listed as...
