    Golf ball mold?

Yeah, I did post a link to one like that. Might be an option depending on the size of the pour hole. Good point, would depend on how thick the batter got I guess. That mold doesn't really have much info on how it's used, ie. the size of the hole at the top, etc... I hadn't thought of fusing...

How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

Wow, I had no idea olive oil had jumped this much, I haven't bought any since maybe October last year, when I could get it for 17 cents an oz at walmart and now walmart is 33 cents an oz.

    Golf ball mold?

Can someone help me with ideas for making a golf ball soap? I'd like it to be the exact size with dimples like a golf ball, but I've never done something like this. Do you get a silicone mold: https://www.amazon.com/Webake-Chocolate-Silicone-12-Cavity-Descorations/dp/B0C991NNFL and then...

How to get smell / odor out of a silicone mold

I just found this, lots of good suggestions: https://houseoftomorrow.net/how-to-properly-clean-plastic-soap-molds-this-is-how-its-done From this it sounds like vinegar or baking soda paste might be good to use on the silicone mold.

How to get smell / odor out of a silicone mold

My plan for the next few batches is to use the chunks, but once the chunks are gone, I'll want to go back to 100% unscented without the additional mint chunks, and I'm just thinking forward to that batch, wondering if this mold will transfer any minty smell to that one. My FO was 3% of the...

How to get smell / odor out of a silicone mold

I followed a recipe using peppermint EO and I believe I ended up using way too much EO! I cut that batch into chunks and I'm going to add it to an unscented batch next to cut it back a bit... Anyway, I now have a mold that smells strongly like peppermint, and I'm concerned about using it for a...

    soapee.com vs lyecalc.com vs soapcalc.net

Thank you for the replies! I'm just starting to learn about soap making. It's very interesting! I just unmolded my first 100% coconut oil bars to use in a powdered laundry soap soon.

    soapee.com vs lyecalc.com vs soapcalc.net

I first tried soapcalc, but then was happy to find soapee.com because it let me save my recipes. I plugged in a recipe to both and got identical numbers. Woo hoo! But then I tried lyecalc.com which seemed to have an even better interface, but it gave me different numbers. So, trying to figure...
