I really like WSP for general supplies, such as oils/butters. Very fairly priced for me. They also have a few FO's that I really like...and I'm a fan of some of their essential oil blends as well, such as the Bladderwrack blend. For scents, I LOVE Scent Works...some of my all-time favorites...

I think CP is a good way to start...you get to control your own recipe, and really get a handle on the variables that make a soap good. I feel that HP soap is a wonderful and fun method too, but I recommend people try the CP method first. I'm just not a fan of M&P, although there are some...

Exactly what Mandolyn said...it's a wash-off product, so while the scent may linger on the skin for a little while, I don't expect it to last. Layering fragrances, such as using the soap, using a scented lotion, and then using the corresponding body spray works the best to maintain a scent.

Hey, I just made a log of WSP's Rosemary Mint too!!!!!!!!! I left my base uncolored and did a dark green ITP swirl, and it smells sooo nice, and came out nicely. Yours is so natural looking and pretty!!! And I'm loving that pink!!!!!!!!!

The only fall-themed thing I've made so far is an unscented Pumpkin Buttermilk bar...it's a GREAT facial soap, and the lather (which I assume is due to the fact that my liquid is 100% buttermilk, no water) is TO DIE FOR.

Bah! Soap scum!!! I don't let it get to me, although I'll admit that my tub gets a bit scummy with my handmade soap. Nothing a shot of some warm vinegar water won't cut right through!!! :lol:
