Oh my gosh, I can so relate! It doesn't matter what scent I shove under my husband's nose and ask, "what does this smell like?", his reply is always the same, "smells like soap!" gah!!
I started out just making scents in whatever I liked. If I really liked the scent or it was well liked by others I would make multiple products in the same scent.
Some fragrance oils don't work well in CP. So I have a Pink Sugar body butter, bath bomb and M&P soap, but I don't have it in CP...

CP should not be wrapped because it continues to cure. If you wrap it do so right before the market/show, etc. I store mine in shoe boxes after the 6 weeks with air vents.
Which FO did you use? I am wondering because this same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I was using a log mold though. Mine too looked like applesauce so I glopped it into the mold and hoped for the best. The next day it leaked oil.
