Has anyone else used the vitamin e in capsule form and noticed good results? I always thought that vitamin e didn't survive the soaping process.

I believe she meant in soap. She just said that even though most people will be o.k., clay and oxides may cause irritation and/or inflammation of the eye lids. She never mentioned the amount, but to me, it sounds like regular amount (not too much of it or clumps of it).

Greetings fellow sudmaker-makers. I've come to realize a bunch of my soaps have tiny clumps of clay and/or oxides, which may look nice, but I fear they can cause harm. Has anyone had any problems with using soap with clumps of colorant and then ending up with skin irritation? Or staining...

That's a really nice green oxide..mine looks so lame compared to that. Did you mix with white mica or anything (it looks sparkly)? I always have trouble putting oxides in too because they clump like mad.

'Tis the coconut (and fragrance). Non-scented castile would probably be the best way to go, or maybe with a little spearmint/peppermint/eucalyptus combo.

Haha I do this sort of thing too. Go into soap stores and spy on their products, pick every single bar up and have a sniff. "Can I help you with anything?" "Nope, just uhh looking". Sometimes I'll relieve myself of guilt by buying a cheap product.

Is there much difference between tooth soap and regular soap? I did a quick google and didn't find much on ingredients...just a lot of 'ohhh it's good for you!' sort of thing.

Chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips. Or raisins. It looks nice though, definitely would work well with a coffee scent. A thin layer of thick trace white soap would be neat. How big are those bars btw?

This is an important piece of info! I just tried with castile and it tastes way better. I wish I scented with something less flowery though...tastes like I just snacked on a bouquet. @Stinkydancer It does seem like it's better than toothpaste, however, I personally will be doing further...
