Zero water vs distilled in soapmaking

Has anyone tried to use zero water in place of distilled with similar results?

zero water as in filtered water? should be fine.
many just use tap water.

when I use water as my liquid I use distilled.

Rain water is out of the world wonderful, but most of the time I use aloe vera juice or goats milk, coconut milk or tea (which was made with distilled water).

I have yucky tap wat so mine goes thru filter pitcher before use in soaping. I get better results since I started doing this.
