ZenColor colorants

Hello everyone!
I hope you are doing amazing!
Has anyone had experience with using colorants from a company called ZenColor? My hubby bought me their ZenColor 5 set that contains 5 colors and is intended for MP. I am wondering if it will survive the CP? It was so nice of him to try and surprise me, but I don't know how to use his gift.

Many soap colors made for M&P will not survive the saponification process. Sorry, I know this is not much help. Why not try a one pound batch using one of the new colorants? That way you won't waste a lot of ingredients if you are disappointed. You can still use the soap, even if the color morphs.

How sweet of him! I'd go out and buy a MP base and make him some soap with those colorants as a reward for taking an interest and supporting your passion! You may find you actually like doing MP. It's a great option for making soap with kids and grandkids, by the way. (Or maybe you already have tried MP in the past. You've been around longer than I.)

Regarding the lye stability question:

I have no experience with this brand, which I believe has an "i" in it that you may have left out, but they do have a "contact us" link on their page. Perhaps they can answer your question, but they are clearly made for use in MP, so it seems unlikely they are lye stable.

Back in 2015, ZeniColors were exclusive to the Soap Kitchen in the UK and they do still sell them, so maybe you can find more answers from soapmakers in the UK or by contacting someone at the Soap Kitchen. Or at least you can read the documentation they have available as links on their site.

I did just that. It has been a week now and no response from either one

I was hoping someone would have some experience with this particular product so I may making the test batch. Especially UK based soapers.
This brand does have a line specific for CP called Solo, but hubby thought it would be nicer for me to have five colors to try. Someone on ZenColor’s YouTube channel commented that they used this product in CP but no outcome.

This will most likely be the case. I don’t make many embeds but now… I am on a new journey

I've tried Zencolour in CP, I did but them for M & P embeds and the colours are great for this.
In CP soap however the colour seems to be unable to withstand the rigours of saponification so I stick with micas

A point of clarification regarding the correct name of the product and the company name, which is not the same as the other company of a similar name:

The company name is ZeniColor, not ZenColor. ZenColor is a totally different company, color related, yes, but not soapmaking colorants. To learn more about the difference between the two companies, you can check out these links:

ZenColor is about a digital color coding system. The company is located in Miami, Florida (US). They also make an app called ZenColor®Connect.

ZeniColor is the company that makes the soap colorant in question in this thread. The company is located in Europe, and apparently the parent company name is Zeni Holding.

Don't think it's suitable. A taiwanese lady I follow uses them exclusively for her MP stuff and always switches to another brand for her CP.
