... you receive a Christmas gift in the mail (a lovely tray of dried fruit in this case), and you immediately dump the fruit into a storage container so you can repurpose the box into a soap mold (perfect size for a test batch), and the wooden tray into a drying rack. #thanksforthedriedfruitmom

How about you?

You can’t find the rolling pin to roll out the dough for sugar cookies and you suddenly remember you used it for soap dough last. You sneak down to the soaping room (the laundry) and grab it before DH realises you’ve multipurposed it.

DH doesn’t like to mix kitchen stuff and soap stuff but it’s a fantastic rolling pin...

...you have more measuring utensils, spoons, mixing bowls, and spatulas in your soap lab than in your kitchen.

...everything you look at turns into an opportunity to develop a soap. New rug? Bet I could design a soap that looks like that. Cat hair in your mouth? Wonder if that would dissolve in lye solution...

...your dishwasher gets all scummy and you throw some of your chosen chelator in the final rinse cycle to fix it up (it really works...probably not great for the dishwasher all the time but).

Your mother in law is looking everywhere for the hand mixer to make her signature Christmas cookies only to discover it was being used to make sugar scrubs ( sorry mom!)
