I tried a new recipe I purchased of Etsy. I added 3 tsp of activated charcoal to my 2 1/2 pound soap mold. I just cut it 23 hours after I poured. Wondering what this could be.

The lighting is a little tough, and you aren't specific about the "this" about which you are concerned. But if it is white or gray powdery stuff, that's harmless soda ash. Very common on soaps with activated charcoal, esp if you didn't gel them, cover them immediately after pouring and use a lower water percentage. I do all of those things, and still get ash on my charcoal soaps.
