Hello all,

I'm very new to soaping, but I'm already totally hooked. I decided to kill some time today by making a whipped shea body butter. It turned out pretty well, but now I'm wondering...will it stain?

I used about 7 oz of shea butter, 2.5 oz coconut oil, and about 2 ml of essential oils. It whipped up really nicely but it does stay oily on the skin for a while, and I see a mark on the knee of my pants where I rested my buttered arm :-?

I followed the Soap Queen recipe found here:

http://www.soapqueen.com/bath-and-body-tutorials/lotion/easy-whipped-shea-butter-2/

I'll know for sure one way or another after I do laundry, but do any of you lovely people happen to know from experience if it will come out of fabric easily?

Thanks in advance!

Anything with straight oils and butters can leave an oily mark. I always label my solid with a caution to not get on clothes. They take awhile to absorb into the skin

Thanks - I can't believe I didn't think of that first.
