Whipped soap is not whipping - help!

I am working on making a new batch of some whipped soap using a recipe and ingredients I have used without any problems in the past (Crafter’s Choice base, recipe is the “unicorn dream” one on the WSP site). I am not sure why, but the whipped base doesn’t want to whip, and it has more a consistency of oatmeal or grits. I opened the base about 3-4 months ago, and have kept it tightly lidded in a cool, dry place since then. Is there a way to thicken it and make it whipped again, or should I just start over with a fresh base?

You posted this in the bath and body forum rather than in the lye-based soap forum, so it's possible the soap makers who do whipped soap aren't seeing this thread. I don't have the experience with whipped soap to give advice, but I'm hoping a few more people will see this and respond with ideas now that I've "bumped" the thread.
