I'm sorta trying to cash in on past experiences here, those things are expensive .

I'm wondering which EOs you guys have tried and what kind of results you got?

Cloudyness, random thickness/thinness, complete dissipation of scent, rancidity, floating on top instead of emulsifying, awesome results, etc...anything at all.

Obviously the recipe itself will matter as well, but any info is welcome.

I've tried vanilla EO (in 20% sunflower oil) so far -in a 100% CO and a 25%CO/75%OO soap-, and it's a complete disaster. Cloud, gloppyness, separation (it even left a stain/ring on the soap bottle) and the scent is completely gone. Completely worthless here. Doubt sequestering will do anything either.

Have lavender and ylang ylang waiting to be tested soon.

I have used orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, litsea, peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, allspice, cinnamon, clove, ginger, and nutmeg EOs in liquid soap with awesome results. No funky stuff happening, whatsoever. I use 0.5 oz/PPO in all of them with the exception of peppermint. I used 0.25 oz/PPO in that one.
