Wheatgrass soap smell

I use wheatgrass powder in my clear melt and pour base. The wheatgrass powder was 2 months expired . When I use the soap in the shower it doesn't smell but when I left it on the soap stand it smell horrible like mould. I make a full batche of it

I don't think the scent of wheatgrass powder will survive saponification. the mold-smell may be from the powder deteriorating in a damp climate. You might infusing one of your carrier oils with wheatgrass powder.
