What stick blender?

Hello, I’m new to this forum and also begginer. I’ve made two batches so far one of hot o hot orocess and one cold. That turned out ok. But I burned my stick blender. Can anyone please advise me on the Wtts please?

I have no idea on the wattage of mine, its literally the cheapest I could find at walmart.

Any stick blender will burn up if used continually while soaping. You want to use it in short burts of 10-20 seconds, stirring by hand in between burst.
 
I have a Hamilton Beach that I bought at Walmart for $19 about 15 years ago. It is listed as having 200-watts. It is still going strong for me after 15 years of soaping. I use it in the manner that Obsidian instructed....just short bursts of 10-20 seconds, stirring by hand in between each burst. It should last you a good long while if you use it that way.

I agree what has been said. If you are burning out your blender then its overuse and short bursts with stirring is the way to go. I would suggest nothing less than 200 watts but there are some good amazon prices for 600 watts + if you shop around.
