I have an idea it's usually FO, but I'm just guessing. I have had several weepy batches. All of them absorbed and were fine after a few days, but I never really knew why they did that.

Also, some days my curing soaps feel hard and dry and some days they seem a little damp.

Slight overheating can cause a little weeping in the first few days. It usually reabsorbs.

On days when they feel damp they're probably just sweating because of the humidity. Handmade soaps retain their natural glycerin, which draws moisture to itself

I didn't even think about the glycerin! Makes sense.

So the weeps are because of a slower saponification?
