Can anyone tell me what is going on here? I used a fair bit of TD and I do see a river but what are the dots?

Not without more information, no. Your recipe and method, additives, and so-on are necessary, otherwise it will be hard to know what happened.

Looks like air bubbles, but hard to be 100% sure from a picture.

I used a fair amount of TD so maybe that. Not sure. Recipe is coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, castor oil and avocado oil.
Nurture soap micas which I know those aren't the problem since I always use those in everything with no problems. And I soaped at room temp. 5% superfat and 38% water discount.
