What did I do wrong?

I unmolded my second pour from Monday and this is what my mold looks like. These molds are new. I've only used silicone and PVC pipe before this. It was a struggle getting the mold off the soap. It did not want to come off! (I'm thinking that right there must have been a clue.)

Is that HPDE? Grease it with mineral oil or vaseline, or use silicone spray (food grade).

OH! I didn't grease it! It never occurred to me to do that. Thank you!

Yes, it needs greasing.
Did it gel? Ungelled soaps are sometimes pain to remove from molds.
I made some individual ones the other day, in silicone molds. They didn't gel and 3 days later corners were still stuck in molds. They are all wonky and misshapen but they are for personal use so who cares.

I line all my hdpe molds with freezer paper, makes life much simpler.
