Weird white lumps

Hi! Brand new soapmaker here. These are my first soap but I can't work out what the white lumpy bits are, help appreciated! Thanks, Alan.

Possibly stearic or palmatic acid. It happens if your oils are not heated/melted enough while adding the lye solution. It is not harmful. Just not eye pleasing so much. I think the way to prevent it is going for higher temp while mixing and going for thicker trace. I also just started with soaps so these are just info that I read about. But lots here are much more experienced, hopefully they will confirm/correct my statement.

Agreed that some of these look like stearic spots.

Were these HP by any chance? Because some of larger areas of uncolored soap in the left bar look like over-cooked HP soap.

Some smaller and brighter white dots in the bar (more visible in the bar on the right) look like unmixed TD to me, fondly known as TD boogers. ;)
