Hello Everyone -
I made my first batch of soap after about 2 years of not having time. This is my "tried and true" recipe that I have never had a bad batch from. It came out all crumbly and dry - I am so sad :cry:

Do you think it was too much lye or elevation? I moved to a mtn. town last year and have heard people talking about how their baking isn't the same....

Any help is appreciated!

What was your recipe (understand if you don't want to post it) - what method did you use? Did you DW? Some more information might be helpful.

Sorry it failed on you though. Grind it up and rebatch/handmill it.
