Vegan Beeswax

Hi All
Has anyone used a vegan alternative to beeswax. I make lip balms with beeswax and want to try the vegan alternative, and would like to know if anyone has used it and if it has the same consistency as beeswax. Thanks in advance. Kirsty

Try searching carnauba wax, candelilla wax, soy wax, rice bran wax.. I think those are the most common vegan waxes..

There should be several threads on them. Melting points, consistency, amounts will all be different so you'll have to read up on each. Google, if the forum isn't turning up much.
