Vanilla powder in soap

I saw a video on YouTube where the soap maker used vanilla powder in soap. I have some in the pantry and would love to try it. My question is will it discolor like vanillin?

It's very likely. Vanillin is found in vanilla and I'm sure it gets its name from the plant (I can actually be very wrong there)

I haven’t used vanilla powder but I’ve used vanilla bean paste and vanilla bean seeds at 1tsp ppo and it doesn’t discolour. It looks great (tiny spots) and is a tiny bit textured - not like poppy seeds which are scratchy.

No scent in the soap. None at all. Only when you squeeze it out of the tube or scrape it off the bean, then, it is lovely.
