Using salt in rebatch soap

I would like to try this! I came across this from a few years ago. Any more tips?

I've done this. Be aware when you add the salt, the soap gets really hard and can get crumbly. I would suggest putting it in individual silicone molds so you don't have to worry about cutting.
Thank you 😊 I will use a cavity mold to make things easier. I want to use it as a foot scrub bar. Do you think 75% of the batter weight will work? Add the salt just before pouring (likely scooping!) out?
 
Salt isn't scrubby, it just dissolves and goes smooth. If you use larger salt, it can scratch the skin.
A very finely ground coffee makes a better scrubby
