The exceptionally proficient soap champions had driven me to overwhelming adulation of all things saponified. For the first time ever I tried using a cupcake silicone mold. I was trying to pulll (off) out my chamomile cupcake and it was sweaty, gooey, and pulled part of the edges apart. Does silicone hold moisture longer?

I'll try icings later but for now, how on erf do you make a simple cupcake that holds its shape guys?

I do find that my cupcake soaps don't gel and therefore stay softer much longer. I started using sodium lactate and it's helped a great deal with unmolding. I can generally unmold after 24-36 hours or so.
