I regularly cook beets in the pressure cooker and am left with this beautiful beet-colored water. Has anyone used a similar beet liquid to make CP soap? I'd be very happy to hear your experience and how the soap turned out. Assuming it can be done, two questions that come to mind are: Would it be necessary to freeze the liquid to minimize scorching? Does the soap stain? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

I've never tried it, but I'm afraid that lovely color will just turn tan in the soap.

Yes, it does not stay that lovely. 
I also love beets and sadly the beautiful color does not survive the lye. I did try it once.
The good news is, that beet water can be used to make beautiful pink fruit smoothies that don't taste like beets.
