uses for tapioca starch

Not sure for soap making but it's used for bath powders, salts, etc. Apparently it helps to hold the scent and disolves completely in water.
 
I sub it for cornstarch in my milk baths, dusting powders and use it in mineral make-up. I read somewhere that cornstarch can make a yeast infection worse, so not to use it on baby's bottoms. Sorry, I don't have the source. Duh me! :oops:

I sub it anywhere talc and/or cornstarch are called for in a recipe. I don't see a need for it in soap.
