UPS Rate Changes

Just FYI, I just got an email from my UPS rep. Here is what it said.

2008 UPS Rate Change Information

To help you plan for the coming year, we want you to know about new UPS rates and services that will take effect December 31, 2007.

UPS published small package Daily and Retail rates will change as follows*:

UPS Ground and UPS Standard to Canada services will increase 4.9%.

Air and International express services will increase a net 4.9% through a combination of a 6.9% increase in rates and a 2% reduction in the air and international fuel surcharge.



If anyone need to ship or order anything heavy you may wanna go ahead and get it done.

I ship USPS 99% of the time for that reason. The USPS hacks me off at times, OK, most of the time, but my customers want the lowest shipping rates available and for my type business, USPS overall, seems to give the best rates.
