There goes my first one... Before cutting.
Also show off with my custom made wooden box 😁
The little dark spots are the powders I used. Shikakai and Amla. Don't like the petals sitting there and was thinking to remove them and decorate with golden mica.

After the cut, added mica on top. I realised that cutting thru the petals leaves marks, also don't like how they look. Next time I will not put the petals.
As a newbie I don't see any problems inside of the soap. Dark spots are the powders used, can't see any gelling or soda ash, so I am basically happy with it. I did only small batch to test my ability to make soap. Well.. There it is.. Now we wait..

@Phantomka ✨🧼Looks Gr8! May be your 1st loaf but it will definitely not be the last. The 🧼 bug bites HARD! 😂 Have Fun!
Funny one actually, looks like every society has their own version of this. I also grow cacti, and in cacti society we say, once you get that spike in your finger you are infected, meaning you prob won't stop growing them ever. Also, I am a mushroom forager, there we say that once you get that spores in you, they start controling you. And tbh you really start finding amazing mushrooms when you let them control you. So yeah, I am happy about my new BUG BITES 😂😂😂

Only obvious when shared - and remembered! I recently cut a charcoal loaf that had a pretty textured top. Totally forgot to turn it on its side, so bits of the textured top broke off and left drag marks. Was using a loaf cutter, so no chance to adjust - every bar had them. 😭
Yeah, hard to remember everything right? Maximum focus needed.

I do love that cool mold, which I hadn’t really noticed before. Somehow I also missed the picture of the bars on what appears to be a metal rack. If that is metal, be sure to put some freezer paper or parchment paper between the rack and the soap to avoid rancidity or Dreaded Orange Spots (DOS).

Thanks,I got my boyfriend to do the mold so it was his idea to put the doors 😁. And no metal, it is plastic box for fruits. I did read about the rancidity
