I tweaked my recipe today to hopefully get some floater not sinker bombs. I will update original thread once they dry and I test them. They do feel lighter though..

Thank you.

The trick? Work super fast! Have a helper if possible.

Less is more. Just like danish dough, more difficult to work second time rolling.

Less is the key. Start with a small amount of baking soda/citric. Like 1/8 cup. For small embeds. Plus oil. Careful about using witch hazel. Alcohol is much forgiving. But again work fast!

Once I make my first sturdy embeds. Larger stars, hearts. I say scrap. Use a 1/2 teaspoon for secret embeds on round bombs.

Tomorrow will be, "Tears From Heaven". With these embeds.

Just wanted to add dough is not the same second turn around. This is why I advise using small amounts if you want embeds. Because seconds are wasteful scraps. I tried to revive using alcohol, witch hazel. Busts. Foamed me! Don't waste your citric acid. After first run. Make embeds in 1/2 teaspoon for fillers.
