took these pics this morning

at 6:30AM. Still dark, snowing steadily. We won't get out today to visit friends for skiing and celebrating

but here are some neat pics to share with you.

Do you notice anything unusual in the center of the pic? There are two white dots very close to one another, amongst all the snowflakes. (I'll bighten up the pic in the next post)

See the small deer standing over the birdbath? They stand so very still when we open the door, that I don't always notice them until after I get the photos into Picasa and on the computer screen!

Hey Woodi, I love the pics (my son likes your railing too). That system must be huge, we've got the same thing going on over here, but alas I broke the camera and can't post pics (mine wouldn't have been that interesting anyway).

How often do you get these "silent" visitors?
