Too much tussah silk??

Tonight was my first attempt at using tussah silk in CP soap. I'm pretty sure I used too much silk!

I remember reading to use a pinch of silk ppo. After making the soap and suspecting I used too much, I went searching for videos showing the right amount to use... Yep, my pinch didn't look like their pinch.

In 30 days, will my soap still be usable?

Yeah, your soap will be fine. I use raw silk worm cocoons and there is a lot more silk in one of those then a pinch of tussah.

It’ll be fine. I use about the size of a small cotton ball.

Been there, done that. Soap was fine, but felt too slick for my taste. I now use about half of the original amount that I tried. It really is personal preference as to the “feel” you want.
