Titanium Dioxide makes MP soap last longer?

I've noticed that the MP soaps with Titanium Dioxide in it will last quite a bit longer than those that do not. Has anyone else noticed this?
Is there something in TD that makes the soaps last longer?
I really wanted to stay with clear soap - without any "dyes, additives" etc but all the clear soaps from WSP wear out much faster than the ones with TD in it.

That sounds very weird. Are there more ingredients in the white soaps or something?

the only additional ingredient in the white soaps vs the clear soaps is Titanium Dioxide. Several of my friends have said the same thing, the clear soaps w/o TD do not last as long, and they seem to be softer.
