I have some fragrance oils and essentials that will almost instantly thicken my liquid soap when I add it. I've been somewhat frustrated by this lately since I did not want my fragrances to thicken my soap (although the soap is not very thin to start). I want to thicken my LS, but I felt like I wanted to be the one to control that, not my fragrance/essential.

So now I changed my mind and I'm having that "Roll with it" attitude.

Why not use the fragrance/essential oils as thickeners?

Any harm or anything to look out for if I just roll with it and use this approach?

Anybody else use their fragrance also as a thickener?

Mods, you can delete this post. I can't delete a post.
Thanks

I've just realized that my thickened product is somewhat unpleasant to the point it is almost like jelly. Therefore making this topic somewhat irrelevant.

Before deleting the post may I ask whats the reciepe for your liquid soap? It might help clear up somethings I have been having trouble with as well.

Thanks!
