I am curious. Which do you think added the more redness of color; the infused olive oil with the paprika or the milled red granite?
I noticed you added Calamine powder too, which is a predominately zinc oxide with a smidgen of iron oxide added. Mostly a pink coloration like the lotion.

Also, did you decant the olive oil off of the settled paprika after the four days or was the paprika part of the final olive oil addition? I am looking to do the same with some New Mexico Chile Powders I have on hand.

BTW, your soap looks really good! Excellent job on your part! Keep up the great work with your soaping endeavor.

I think the Paptrika was dominant, and the granite and calamine just backing it up . I let the oil go clear and the paprika settle and poured off the clear oil. and sometimes i pour it thru a fine cloth. I want to try some Indigo on an up comming batch or Madder. and one thing the granite seems to do is clean the skin and lets the soap dry again after using it . you get alot of washing out of a small amount of soap

You've inspired me your soap is so pretty. I've infused 4 tea of Paprika in 1/3 cup of MCT oil. I didn't heat the oil cause I don't want condensation in the oil so I hope it works?. I'll add some rose kaolin clay thinking it may help enhance the color.
Thank you for your inspiration.
