Tea Tree Oil

Decided I don't really like the smell of Tea Tree Oil. It always smelled so good in shampoo. Now I think it smells like medicine or lysol or something.

Yep, it does smell pretty medicinal.

You can blend it with another eo.
It blends pretty well with:
lemon
lavender
clove
rosemary

yeah I'm not a big fan of the smell either. I suffer through it (as do my kids) because it's what we use as a bug bite helper in the summer!

I like it blended with Sweet Orange for an acne bar.

I second that it mixes well with all the oils that the above poster wrote.
I think Lavender and Lemon help with bug bites and such as well.

Peppermint cuts that medicine a bit- at least redistilled does.

I like a blend of lavender, patchouli, and tea tree.

Those are good ideas. I'm going to try that then-mixed with lavender or mint or something.

I mix Tea Tree and Lemon Grass together in one of my basic soap recipes. Tea Tree by itself does smell very medicinal.
