Well, I got through my first swirl with no disasters, and it's not perfect but I don't think it's too shabby for a first try. It's scented with NG Black Raspberry & Vanilla (omg I'm in love, the kitchen still smells amazing 36 hours later).

It's a pretty small batch so I just made my log mold into a slab and did a simple mantra swirl. Colored with Flirt and Wicked micas from Mad Oils, but I didn't gel it; I'm kind of a fan of the "creamy" look. Also it's my first recipe using a bit of castor oil so I'm excited to try it out in a few weeks.

As you can probably tell from the top, I got a little too happy with the stick blender and the mix was a tiny bit thick by the time I got around to swirling it. Oops!
