I tried to make a face bar last night. I used store bought almond milk and fresh goat's milk. My recipe used sea clay and I read on a blog to add water to it before hand. Well, I didn't have distilled on hand so I mixed it with a tbs of Deer Park. I checked on it after 2hrs in the freezer and there were little water drops all over the top, not frozen. today I pulled it out and there is a dull film over the entire top. Could it be the water or the fillers in the almond milk? or both?

This has happened to me before. My milk soaps have gotten a bit of sweat on top and usually the next day it's dried and absorbed and the film left on top is Soda ash. I just wipe it off with a damp washcloth.

It leeched the color right out of my mica too. I never imagined there was so much to learn about every tiny little detail. Thanks.

This may be a dumb question but what is Deer Park?
