Superfat shave soap

In soap calc there is a field which gives properties of the soap recipe. what is the correlation between the conditioning number and the amount you choose to superfat?

None. There is no connection between the two.

The "conditioning" number is the % of oleic + linoleic + linolenic + ricinoleic fatty acids. This is calculated based on the fats you selected for your recipe and has nothing to do with how much superfat you want in the finished soap.

The lye discount (aka superfat) setting controls the amount of free (unsaponified) fat in the recipe. This setting is independent of the fatty acid profile.
