Sugar in water

So my whole purpose of my batch today was to up the bubbles in my lard soap. I just made the lye water and forgot to add the stupid sugar to the stupid water. Is there a time that i can add it later or do i need to start over.

edit...and thats as far as i am in the recipe, just the lye water. So im not knee deep in a recipe lol

Nevermind. I made drain cleaner out of it. I dont want to try to fix a recipe before i even start lol

All you needed to do was as some hot water to the sugar to make a simple syrup and blend it in your oils. They lye would have did it's magic once it was mixed with the oils.

I make up 1:1 sugar/water syurp and keep it on the fridge. Then add required amount to my oils.. much essier than dissolving it each time..

@Todd I would use a 1:1 simple syrup the same as a 50:50 masterbatch lye solution

Usually depends on recipe and temp Im soaping..
