Hi there,

Is hydrogenated palm kernel oil what fast food and people, when they don't eat animals, use to fry french fries, etc?

Thanks!

It probably differs from restaurant to restaurant, but for what it's worth, there are a few fast food restaurants that I go to that use peanut oil for deep-frying their fries.

IrishLass :)

they probably have "palm-free" marked in their card which can help rising the prices etc. In France, we mainly use sunflower oil.

Yes it is, they also use regular palm or coconut for deep frying.

I wasn't too sure when I saw hydrogenated palm oil sold in blocks in my local store. Thanks for the affirmation!
