Strawberry Fields Forever

I made a new batch this morning. A strawberry FO from Bramble Berry. Even at 20 years old, the scent is still gorgeous. I used Trial By Fire red mica from Nurture Soap, and Peachy Pink and Mermaid Green from Windy Point (Canada). I poured at medium trace and by the time I was done pouring, it was at thick trace. (You can see in the lower right corner of the picture the very last bit that was scraped from the pot.) Overall, I am happy with how it came out. I will post more pictures after it is cut.

Some pictures of the Strawberry. The smell is nice and strong - the way I like it. I'm a little disappointed with the green I used. This one has too much blue in it. Forgive the soap crumbs. I like to let the bars sit for 2 or 3 weeks before I start manhandling them.

I agree! They are very pretty! Too green and that would definitely look like a Christmas soap.

That turquoise swirl really saves your butt from the perfect unintentional meat soap! Now it rather looks like meat of a poor being with a serious disease

This looks awesome and I imagine it smells awesome. Great job with the red, too, it's not in danger of the meat curse. It's probably the touch of green.

Never heard of meat soap til now! I'm glad I avoided it!
