Based upon previous posts on soap storage, I decided to store my soap in plastic containers with lids.

My goal in this storage method is to preserve as much scent as possible.

So now, I've started shrink wrapping the soap. I like the shrink wrap as it protects it somewhat and gives it a professional look and feel.

Now that I'm shrink wrapping, do you think I still need to store the shrink wrapped bars in the plastic containers since the shrink wrapping is helping with the scent retention?

Thanks ahead of time for some answers!!

I have mine (shrinkwrapped and not) in the lids from paper boxes (the ones that hold 10 reams) and store them in my spare room, under the bed mostly. Be aware that the soap will still shrink a bit even though it's in shrink wrap. You will probably need to use the heat treatment again down the road.
