Stick blender: Is plastic okay?

I need to buy a new stick blender for CP soap making, and I was wondering if it's okay to soap with a blender with a hard plastic stick. I've read recommendations for stainless steel, but we use lots of other plastic items for soapmaking (bowls, lye storage, molds).

I'd really appreciate feedback on this before I make my purchase. Thanks!

I’ve used a plastic stick blender for years with no issues. I use the same one for food, again, no issues.

I used plastic for a few years doing hot process soap and didnt have it melt or warp. I use stainless now because I soap hotter now. 190 and above

In 15 years never had a problem with a plastic stick blender. CP soap.
