St. Patty Day Green Beer Soap

Will anyone be making beer soap for St Patty Day. Just wondering. Beer soap is on my wish list. If using green tinted beer will the soap have a green tint also.:?:

Nope, especially if you add the beer to your lye. Added to lye it will usually turn brown.

No green from green beer. Beige or brown is what you'll end up with.

why don't you make beer soap, and tint it green? you can still call it Green Beer Soap...just the beer wasn't green.....

Hydrated chrome green oxide from BB. Could have used a bit more.

Ok thanks for the the advice. I know to let the beer sit out and go flat. Can beer be use for all the water?

Yes, you can use 100% beer in replacement for water. Just freeze the beer and add the lye slowly to the frozen beer so as not overheat and scorch the beer.
